Grand Rapids press reports Bob Seger sells out Grand Rapids show in 8 minutes, Even though tickets were still available 20 minutes after it went onsale.  Shut out of the onsale, we have your Bob Seger tickets!

Really interesting blog entry by Bob Lefsetz on the sold out LCD Soundsystem show @ MSG, and the smoke and mirrors artists/promoters use to pass the buck. And if all else fails, blame the scalpers.

Taylor Swift goes on sale in a bunch of cities this week, including Grand Rapids. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, but we'll have your tickets starting at 11 am Tuesday!

Kid Rock refunds $ to snowbound Arkansas fans. After deciding to perform his show in Arkansas despite Snowmageddon, fans complained on Kid Rock's website. The rocker then did the right thing and angrily responded that he would refund the money out of his own pocket, adding that he has never "ripped off" his fans. Tickets are still available for the rest of his tour here

NFL Lockout looming as talks stall. Anticipating a NFL lockout, NFL teams have been sending out season ticket invoices much earlier this year, with most teams demanding payment by the end of February, conveniently a few days before the March 4th lockout would take affect. How will a lockout affect 2011 ticket sales for the NFL?
